How to Get a Florida Medical Marijuana Card
To be eligible for a registry card allowing the legal purchase of medical marijuana, you need to fulfill the following criteria:
- Be 18 years old or above, or if you’re a minor, have a parent or guardian applying as a caregiver.
- Have a diagnosis of a qualifying medical condition – refer to the list of approved conditions.
- Obtain an official certification from a doctor.
- Be a resident of Florida and provide proof of residency, such as an Florida driver’s license or state ID.
Note that members of the Florida National Guard and the U.S. Military are prohibited by state law from obtaining a registry ID card.
How to Quallify for your medical card in Arkansas
In the state of Florida, a medical marijuana card is granted to individuals based on a specific list of qualifying medical conditions. It is essential to note that a qualifying medical condition must be accompanied by at least one associated or complicating condition. Below is the initial list of debilitating medical conditions that make an individual eligible for a NY medical marijuana card:
- Cancer
- Glaucoma
- Positive status for human immunodeficiency virus/ acquired immune deficiency syndrome
- Hepatitis C
- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
- Tourette’s syndrome
