How to Quallify for your medical card in Oklahoma
If you are an Oklahoma resident aged 18 and above, you are eligible to apply for a medical marijuana adult patient license. What are the requirements and rules for personal cultivation in Oklahoma?
In Oklahoma, residents who are at least 25 years old can cultivate marijuana for medical purposes. However, specific requirements must be met to obtain a medical marijuana grower license, as outlined in the state’s regulations. It is important to note that individuals with criminal convictions are prohibited from growing marijuana in Oklahoma, as they will undergo criminal history background checks.
Minors in Oklahoma can cultivate marijuana at home without a license, but they must have a responsible adult in their household supervising the cultivation. The only minors under 18 who are permitted to use, possess, and grow marijuana at home are those with medical marijuana patient cards.
However, there are restrictions on marijuana cultivation permissions in Oklahoma. Approved medical marijuana patients can grow a maximum of six mature marijuana plants and six seedlings on their property. The cultivation must take place indoors and away from public view to comply with the regulations.
How long will it take to get my OKLAHOMA MED CARD?
According to state law, the processing of patient license applications for the Oklahoma medical marijuana card must be completed within 14 business days from the date of submission. Once the application is reviewed by OMMA (Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority) staff, applicants will receive an email notification.
