Vermont Department of Mental Health (DMH) The DMH is the state authority responsible for overseeing a system of community-based services and supports for Vermonters with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.

NAMI Vermont The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Vermont is a grassroots organization providing education, support, and advocacy to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.

Vermont Care Partners A statewide network of sixteen non-profit, community-based agencies that provide mental health, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disability services and supports.

Vermont Suicide Prevention Center A program of the Center for Health and Learning, VTSPC is a public-private partnership that works to build healthy and resilient communities and reduce suicide through education and advocacy.

VTHelplink A statewide, public resource for finding substance use and mental health services and support. It provides referrals to treatment, recovery, and prevention resources through a helpline and online portal.

Veterans Crisis Line A free, confidential resource available to any Veteran, even if not registered with the VA or enrolled in VA health care. The service connects Veterans in crisis with qualified, caring VA responders 24/7.

Vermont Addiction

 

Vermont Department of Health – Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs The state’s lead agency for substance use and addictive disorders. It oversees prevention, treatment, intervention, and recovery services throughout Vermont.

VTHelplink The state’s primary referral service for substance use issues. It provides free, confidential assistance to help Vermonters find treatment, recovery, and support services for themselves or a loved one.

Vermont Recovery Network (VRN) A statewide network of peer-run recovery centers that provide support, resources, and community for individuals and families on their recovery journey.

Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery (VAMHAR) A statewide advocacy organization that works to promote policies and community supports that foster mental health and addiction recovery for all Vermonters.
