Kentucky Medical Cannabis Dispensaries

As of August 11, 2025, Kentucky’s medical cannabis program is legally in effect. However, the state is still in the process of licensing and approving businesses. As a result, there are no state-licensed dispensaries open to the public at this time.

The Kentucky Medical Cannabis Program is expected to announce the first round of licensed dispensary locations in the coming months. For the most current information and to see the list of dispensaries once they are approved and operational, please refer to the official state government resource.

Kentucky Office of Drug Control Policy (ODCP) Known as the “Drug Czar’s Office,” the ODCP leads Kentucky’s strategy on substance use disorder, focusing on prevention, treatment, and law enforcement efforts to combat the addiction crisis.
