Nebraska Medical Cannabis Dispensaries

As of October 2025, Nebraska has legalized medical cannabis; however, no dispensaries are yet open to patients. The Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission has approved emergency regulations and is currently in the licensing phase. The law requires the first dispensary licenses to be issued no later than October 1, 2025. Patients are not yet permitted to purchase from in-state dispensaries, and home cultivation remains prohibited under state law.

For current updates and official licensing announcements, visit the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees the medical cannabis regulatory process.
