Tennessee Cannabis Dispensaries
As of August 11, 2025, Tennessee has not legalized recreational or comprehensive medical cannabis. The state does not have a program for state-licensed dispensaries.
Tennessee state law only allows for the use of low-THC (containing no more than 0.9% THC) cannabis oil for a limited number of severe medical conditions, such as intractable epilepsy. However, the law does not establish a framework for in-state cultivation or dispensing, meaning patients must acquire these products from outside of Tennessee. Therefore, there are no state-licensed medical cannabis dispensaries operating in Tennessee.
